Who We Are

The HousingResource Center is a program of the Greater Metropolitan Housing Corporation. GMHC’s mission is to preserve, improve and increase affordable housing for low and moderate income families, as well as assist communities with housing revitalization.

The HousingResource Center is a community service for homeowners and provides comprehensive free housing services to all residents of participating communities, while also improving the community and its housing stock. The HousingResourceCenter provides numerous services, including individual, high quality, complete assistance through the purchase, financing, refinancing or construction/renovation process.

Current Staff by Location:Northeast Staff:

Chris P. Bolstad-Construction Manager
Mr. Bolstad began working at the HousingResource Center-Northeast in May 2002 as an intern. Chris graduated from Augsburg College in Minneapolis, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing, and a minor in Management Information Systems. Chris was hired as a full-time employee with GMHC during the summer of 2003. Prior to working with GMHC, Chris had 2 to 3 years of experience working with his father on the rehabilitation of homes. In 2001, he started a small corporation, which was created to provide interior repair, focusing mostly on wall & ceiling water damages.

Denise P. Eloundou— Program Coordinator
Ms. Eloundou is currently the Program Coordinator at the Housing Resource Center-Northeast. She joined GMHC in 2002, working with the administration of loan programs and ensuring that Housing Resource Center clients receive required information and resources. Denise has two years of previous experience working with the Brooklyn Park Community Resource Center and the Minneapolis Public Housing Authority as a VISTA community worker.

Ronald J. Korsh— Construction Manager/Residential Designer
Ron has 20 years experience running his own residential design studio. Currently, he works as a construction manager at GMHC’s Housing Resource Center-Northeast. Ron creates the plans and specifications for GMHC’s large whole house renovation projects. He also works with individual homeowners and contractors to identify home improvement projects.

Samantha J. Larson— Program Assistant
Ms. Larson joined GMHC in March 2005 as the Program Assistant for the HousingResource Center-Northeast. Samantha completed an internship at Macalester-Groveland Community Council while attending the University of Minnesota and she has over four years of previous customer service experience. Samantha graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science degree in Housing Studies.

Northwest Staff:

Terrica Carlson–Assistant Construction Manager
Ms. Carlson joined GMHC in May 2002 with previous housing experience through the Neighborhood Assistance Program at Project for Pride in Living. She has a construction background and has completed the Housing Inspections Course at Prosource Business School in Bloomington. Terrica has volunteered as an AmeriCorps National member and a Board member for Anoka County Family Homeless Prevention.

Warren Ditch— Construction Manager
In 1968 Mr. Ditch joined the Minneapolis Housing and Redevelopment Authority (MHRA). He retired on December 31, 1999. After serving 33 years at the Minneapolis Community Development Agency (MCDA) in management and as a special consultant in Multi-family Housing Projects, he joined GMHC as a Construction Manager for the Housing Resource Center-Northwest. Warren provides overall construction management, assistance to special assignments (Little Earth), and also monitors properties within the “flipping” community.

Jennifer A. Camacho— Program Coordinator
Ms. Camacho works at the HousingResource Center-Northwest, overseeing the administrtion of neighborhood loan programs, including processing and closing loan applications.

Southside Staff:

Angie R. Flemons— Program Coordinator
Prior to joining GMHC, Angelique worked for United Properties for 5 years in property management. She also has her Real Estate license and an appraisal license, working for Coldwell Banker Burnet. Ms. Flemons also has a degree in Education from the University of Minnesota. She enjoys helping people get the resources they need to achieve their housing goals.

Kendra A. Ryan— Program Assistant
Ms. Ryan joined GMHC in September of 2005. She previously worked for Allina Hospitals and Clinics in the Home Oxygen and Medical Equipment division. Ms. Ryan graduated from the University of Wisconsin Stout with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies and enjoys working with individuals and families to meet their housing needs.

Stephen W. Green— Construction Manager
Mr. Green joined GMHC in February of 2001 with 28 years of experience in both new and rehab construction. He works at the Housing Resource Center-Southside, where he consults with homeowners, giving advice and coordinating the overall construction management functions.

NorthMetro Staff:

Jennifer M. Bergman— Program Director
Jennifer joined GMHC in June of 2001 as the Program Director and is responsible for the overall management of the HousingResource Centers. Prior to working for GMHC, Jennifer worked for Anoka County where she was responsible for the overall administration of the Community Development Block Grant and HOME Investment Partnership Program and was the Assistant Director of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority. She also has experience working for the cities of Mounds View and Columbia Heights where she developed and administered several housing programs including a housing rehabilitation program and a housing replacement program.

Marie A. Malrick— Program Coordinator
Ms. Malrick joined GMHC in March of 2000. Ms. Malrick has an Urban Studies degree and works at the Housing Resource Center-NorthMetro as the Program Coordinator administering home improvement programs to homeowners in both NorthMetro Minneapolis, Roseville and other suburban communities.

Paul G. Soenneker— Construction Manager
Mr. Soenneker began his work at GMHC as a Construction Manager in June, 2001. Paul’s background includes 18 years in the construction trade, where he has extensive hands-on experience as a contractor. He currently works out of the Housing Resource Center – NorthMetro.

Sue M. Schirmers— Program Assistant
Ms. Schirmers joined GMHC in November, 2003 as the Program Assistant in the HousingResource Center – North Metro. She has over five years experience in the construction industry working as the office manager at a remodeling company. Additional work experience for Ms. Schirmers includes five years at the North Hennepin Chamber of Commerce in Brooklyn Park, MN. She graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and is an active community volunteer.

Saint Paul Staff:

Stephanie A. Lincoln— Program Coordinator
Ms. Lincoln joined GMHC in October, 2000 working at the HousingResource Center Northeast as the Program Assistant. In April 2004, GMHC opened the HousingResource Center Saint Paul,where Stephanie is currently the Program Coordinator. She administers loan programs and provides a variety of housing information to clients, and collaborates with other housing agencies and neighborhood groups.

Curt L. Bennett— Construction Manager
Mr. Bennett started working with GMHC in August 2000. Mr. Bennett has 20 years of extensive work experience and educational training related to the construction industry. Working at the Housing Resource Center – Northeast, Curt enjoys helping homeowners solve problems, coordinate tasks and achieve specific goals. Curt is also assisting with projects for the Metropolitan Council.

Laura E. Bolstad— Program Coordinator
Ms. Bolstad joined GMHC in September 2005 as the Program Assistant for the HousingResource Center-St. Paul. She graduated from St. Olaf College in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and English. Laura has completed internships in the Housing Services Department of Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota and at the Lutheran Coalition for Public Policy in Minnesota. Laura has had a wide range of experiences, from sales/marketing and volunteering to studying abroad in Costa Rica and the Czech Republic.
